MDO Nip Roller Basis Information
The MDO stretching process of biaxially oriented plastic film production line (BOPP, BOPET and other materials) is a crucial link in its production process, which directly affects the physical properties of the film and the quality of the final product.
Stretching Process Description
- Preheating: Before stretching, the film material first needs to be preheated under the action of MDO heating roller and MDO nip roller to bring the film to optimal temperature, reducing viscosity and increasing stretchability.
- Machine Direction Oriented: The film enters the stretching zone between two rollers of unequal speed, causing the film to stretch along its machine direction, increasing strength and toughness.
- Cooling: After stretching, the film passes through a cooling zone to solidify its molecular structure and lock in the directional state of the molecular chain.
