Corrugator Roll Production
The corrugating roller is the most critical component in corrugated board production equipment and serves as a key part of the single side machine. Manufactured from 48CrMoA steel, it undergoes surface heat treatment and cold treatment to achieve a hardness rating typically above HRC55.
Corrugator Roll Structure
The corrugated roller consists of upper and lower rollers with female surfaces. These rollers are matched and assembled with a unique meshing mechanism distinct from standard gear transmission.
- The lower corrugated roller is the active component, equipped with gears at the shaft end and driven by a motor through a deceleration device
- The upper corrugated roller is the driven component, powered by engagement with the lower roller teeth
- Radial pressure is applied to the upper roller ends via cylinder to create undercut pressure for corrugated paper formation
- The upper roller can move along the axis connecting line while rotating to maintain proper pressure
