Product Description

AXIS SURGE Foils 890 Carbon Hydrofoil wing for Wing foilers, Para-wingers and kite foilers

I. Core Features

The AXIS SURGE 890 is a high-modulus carbon fiber surfing hydrofoil with a wingspan of 890mm, an area of approximately 1290cm², and an aspect ratio of 9.5. Its geometry has been redesigned specifically for surfing-style hydrofoils, emphasizing both gliding and skidding capabilities, completely overcoming the traditional hydrofoil's limitation of "only one can perform."

Dual-Performance Geometry: Low aspect ratio + optimized airfoil, balancing extreme maneuverability and efficient gliding without sacrificing either.

High-Modulus Carbon Fiber Material: High rigidity, lightweight, excellent torsional rigidity, high-speed stability, direct control, and long lifespan.

Surfing-Style Profile: Rounded leading edge, narrowing trailing edge, and upturned wingtip, providing smooth blade transitions and a sensitive, short-blade feel.

Strong Low-Torque + High Top Speed: Sufficient low-speed buoyancy and early takeoff; stable and controllable at high speeds, with a high speed limit.

High-efficiency pump-driven design: Low wing surface drag, excellent rebound, effortless pumping, long endurance, and easy wave connection.

II. Main Advantages
Pure surfing feel: Extremely fast response, sharp steering, smooth edge switching, as agile as a shortboard, direct foot feel, and seamless integration of rider and vehicle.

Versatile adaptability: Handles everything from knee-high small waves to large reef waves; stable in white water, broken waves, and long-distance gliding.

Cross-project compatibility: Compatible with Wing, Kite, SUP, towed hydrofoil, and other riding styles, versatile and cost-effective.

Low wind/small wave friendly: Strong low-speed torque, low takeoff threshold, easy to take off in weak winds and soft waves, beginner-friendly.

Stable and easy to control: No drifting at high speeds, controllable at the limit, high margin of error, allowing advanced riders to boldly challenge difficult maneuvers.

III. Applicable Scenarios

Wave Conditions: Best performance in small/soft waves (0.5–1.2m); versatile and stable in medium waves (1.2–2m); suitable for large waves (2m+), but speed control is required.

Playing Styles:
✅ Wing Foiling (Main): Wave gliding, rotations, combos, surface jumps, freestyle.

✅ Kite Foiling: High-speed wave cutting, large maneuvers, long-distance gliding.

✅ SUP Foiling: Light wave cruising, recreational surfing, long-distance pumping.

✅ Towed/Assisted Foiling: High-speed reef assault, large-angle wave cutting, extreme surfing.

✅ Parawing: Early takeoff, high efficiency in low winds, long-distance travel, crosswind travel.

Target Audience: First choice for intermediate to advanced surfers/foiling enthusiasts; advanced surfers with a shortboard foundation seeking surfing feel + versatility; practical users who don't want to buy multiple fusels and prefer one fusel for all their needs.

IV. Positioning Compared to Competitors Positioned between the ART V2 (all-around recreational) and the Fireball (high-speed racing), it is a pure surf-oriented all-around forewing: more agile and better at carving than the ART; more stable and better at low waves than the Fireball.
