Flame Resistant Aluminum Foil Fiberglass Cloth for Industrial Protection and Insulation Applications

Description 

This product is part of Wingsec’s aluminum foil composite series. It consists of a 3732 woven fiberglass fabric (430 g/m²) coated with a reflective aluminum foil layer. The total mass per unit area is 480 g/m², and the overall thickness is 0.43 mm.

The 3732 fiberglass base fabric performs reliably under continuous temperatures ranging from -100°F to 1022°F (-73°C to 550°C), offering excellent thermal stability and mechanical strength. The aluminum foil adhesive should be used below 1220°F (660°C). However, since aluminum foil requires time to absorb sufficient heat before melting, the material can endure short-term exposure to even higher temperatures.

What are the uses of aluminum foil fiberglass cloth?
Electrical insulation: It can be made into insulating cloth and tubing, suitable for applications requiring high electrical insulation performance.
Non-metallic compensators: It is used as flexible pipe joints and non-metallic compensators. It is primarily used in power plants, the petroleum, chemical, cement, and steel industries.
Anti-corrosion: It is an ideal anti-corrosion material for internal and external corrosion protection of pipelines and storage tanks.
