The CloudEngine S5731-H series switches are next-generation intelligent gigabit fixed switches developed by Huawei. Built on Huawei's unified Versatile Routing Platform (VRP), these switches feature integrated wireless AC capabilities for managing up to 1,024 wireless APs, free mobility for consistent user experience, VXLAN functionality for network virtualization, and built-in security probes supporting abnormal traffic detection, threat analysis in encrypted traffic, and network-wide threat deception. The CloudEngine S5731-H serves as core switches for small campus networks and branches of medium to large campus networks, as well as access switches for Metropolitan Area Networks.
