Finisar FTLF1421P1BTL 2.67G 1310nm 15km SFP Optical Transceiver
The FTLF1421P1BTL is a high-performance parallel 40Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable (QSFP+) optical module designed to deliver increased port density and significant system cost savings. This full-duplex optical module features 4 independent transmit and receive channels, each supporting 10Gbps operation for an aggregate data rate of 40Gbps over 100 meters of OM3 multi-mode fiber.
The module utilizes an optical fiber ribbon cable with MPO/MTP™ connector that plugs directly into the QSFP+ module receptacle, with proper alignment ensured by integrated guide pins. Electrical connectivity is achieved through a z-pluggable 38-pin IPASS® connector, operating via a single +3.3V power supply. The FTLF1421P1BTL includes comprehensive control features with LVCMOS/LVTTL global control signals for Module Present, Reset, Interrupt, and Low Power Mode functionality.
Advanced monitoring and control capabilities are accessible through a 2-wire serial interface, enabling transmission of complex control signals and retrieval of digital diagnostic information. Individual channels can be independently addressed and unused channels can be shut down for maximum design flexibility. Manufactured in compliance with QSFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) standards, this transceiver is engineered to withstand demanding external operating conditions including extreme temperatures, humidity, and EMI interference.
