About Inconel 600 Wire
Inconel 600 Knitted wire mesh (also known as Alloy 600) is a nickel-chromium alloy with approximately 8% iron content, engineered for applications demanding both corrosion resistance and extreme temperature tolerance. This material performs reliably in environments ranging from cryogenic conditions up to 2050°F.
The high nickel content (~76%) provides excellent resistance to alkaline solutions, reducing conditions, chloride stress-corrosion cracking, and numerous inorganic and organic compounds. With ~15.5% chromium content, Inconel 600 wire mesh offers superior resistance to alkaline salt solutions, caustic environments, oxidizing conditions, and sulfur compounds compared to pure Nickel 200/201 alloys.
