Description of Silver Wire Mesh
Silver wire mesh is manufactured from pure silver wire, woven through plain weave and twill weave into square meshes. This white glossy metal wire mesh is made from 99.99% pure silver wire, offering exceptional softness and ductility second only to gold.
Silver wire mesh provides the best electrical and thermal conductivity among all wire meshes. It does not react with water or atmospheric oxygen, exhibiting excellent corrosion resistance and chemical stability. In corrosive environments, it forms a protective oxide film on the surface, similar to nickel wire mesh.
The oxide layer has high adhesion and inertia, significantly enhancing corrosion resistance and acid/alkali resistance. This makes silver wire mesh particularly stable in environments such as seawater, wet chlorine, chlorite and hypochlorite solutions, nitric acid, metal chromates, and organic salts.
