Q1: What is a leather strap holder in key fob hardware?
A: The leather strap holder is the metal clamp that securely attaches a piece of leather or fabric to the key ring. It allows you to easily create a custom logo key fob by sliding in a blank strap, which can also be branded.

Q2: How do I attach a leather strap to this holder?
A: It's simple. For spring-clip designs, you depress the internal clip to open the jaws, insert the end of your 20mm wide leather strap, and release. For screw-post styles, you loosen the screw, insert the strap, and tighten.

Q3: Can you engrave on both sides of the metal holder?
A: Typically, we engrave on the most visible flat side. Double-sided logo engraving is possible for larger orders and can be discussed based on your specific key fob hardware design.

Q4: Is the 30mm split key ring strong enough for a heavy key set?
A: Yes. The included 30mm split key ring is made from hardened, spring-tempered steel. It is designed to hold a substantial number of keys without deforming or springing open accidentally.

Q5: What file format is needed for the custom logo?
A: We require a vector file (AI, EPS, PDF, or SVG) for logo engraving. This ensures clean, sharp lines and the best possible detail on your custom logo key fob.

Q6: Can I order just the metal holder without the key ring?
A: Yes, components can be supplied separately for large-scale key fob hardware production. The standard offering is the complete set, but we accommodate bulk component requests.
