Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Our European factory uses this inverter to control a rotary indexing table. There's always a ±0.5mm positioning deviation, and we already connected an encoder. What's the issue?
A: Most likely due to encoder signal interference or improper positioning parameter settings. Check encoder cable routing and adjust positioning parameters P1501 and P1502.
Q: The 11kW model in our U.S. workshop can communicate after connecting to Ethernet/IP but fails to synchronize positioning, showing error "SYNC02". How to fix this?
A: Caused by bus synchronization timeout. Confirm slave address doesn't conflict and adjust parameter P0110 and PLC communication timeout settings.
Q: Our small packaging factory in rural Southeast Asia uses the 1.5kW model to control a form-fill-seal machine. When the grid voltage fluctuates heavily, positioning points shift, and even "UV1" undervoltage alarms trigger. What should we do?
A: Enable undervoltage ride-through function (set P00500 to "Allow") and set positioning retry count (P1505) to 3 for automatic repositioning once voltage recovers.
Q: The 7.5kW model in our German plastic factory controls an injection molding machine's rotary table. It triggers "OC2" overcurrent alarms after frequent start/stops. The motor and wiring are fine—what's wrong?
A: Adjust acceleration time (P00200) from 5s to 10s and enable "positioning soft start" (P1503) to reduce startup current impact during frequent positioning.
Q: We want to configure the 55kW model with STO function for North American customers. We don't know how to wire the emergency stop button—do we need an additional module?
A: No extra module required. Connect normally closed contacts of emergency stop button in series to 2-channel redundant safety terminals (X12/STO1 and X12/STO2).
