Magnesium Chloride Flake Hexahydrate White Magnesium Chloride
Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, also known as hydrated chlorite, has the chemical formula MgCl₂·6H₂O and a molecular weight of 203.3. This colorless crystalline solid with a bitter taste appears as white flakes, granules, or powder. It is readily soluble in water and ethanol, and deliquesces easily in high humidity. The compound decomposes upon heating at 116-118℃ and forms magnesium cement when mixed with magnesium oxide and water, making it widely used in magnesite material production.
