Material Selection Guide
Choosing the correct fabric is vital for optimizing filter life and performance:
Polyester (PE): The most cost-effective and common material. High tensile strength, ideal for dry dust collection in temperatures up to 150°C.
Polypropylene (PP): Exceptional resistance to acids and alkalis with near-zero moisture absorption. Best for chemical or wet applications under 90°C.
PTFE (Teflon): The "Gold Standard" for extreme conditions. Fully resistant to high temperatures (up to 260°C) and aggressive chemical corrosion.
Nylon (PA): Excellent abrasion resistance and flexibility. Often used in monofilament mesh form for surface filtration and easy cleaning.
