Function & Operation
This isolated barrier transfers digital signals from NAMUR sensors or mechanical contacts in hazardous areas to safe areas. Each sensor or switch controls one form A normally open relay contact for the safe area load. The innovative 2:1 wire-saving technology reduces field wiring by 50%, significantly cutting installation time and costs.
Switch S1 enables or disables line fault detection in the field circuit. The 2:1 mode is selected with switch S2, while switches S3 through S6 allow reversing the normal output state of the relays. When used with the Power Rail system, the device provides unique collective error messaging for comprehensive system monitoring.
