Functional Description
This isolated barrier transfers digital signals from NAMUR sensors or dry contacts located in hazardous areas to non-hazardous areas. The device monitors proximity sensors or mechanical contacts and controls the relay contact output accordingly. When the input signal state changes, the device output changes state in response.
Operational mode can be reversed via switches, and line fault detection can be disabled as needed. During fault conditions, the relay returns to its de-energized state with LED fault indication according to NAMUR NE 44 standards. When operated via Power Rail, an additional collective error message is available.
