The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-UT2-Ex1 Universal Temperature Converter is a 1-channel isolated barrier designed for intrinsic safety applications in industrial environments.

Function & Application
This isolated barrier converts RTD input signals or thermocouple input signals from hazardous areas to 0/4 mA to 20 mA signals in safe areas. The removable terminal block KC-CJC-** is available for thermocouples when internal cold junction compensation is required.
Fault conditions are indicated by an LED and user-configured fault indication outputs. When operated via Power Rail, an additional collective error message is available for comprehensive system monitoring.
Configuration
The device is easily configured using PACTware configuration software, providing flexible setup options for various industrial applications.
