Working Principle
Inside the mixing chamber, two rotors rotate relative to each other at a defined speed ratio, drawing material through the feed port into the nip area between rotors. The material undergoes intense squeezing and shearing forces as it passes through the rotor gap. When it strikes the sharp "W"-shaped edge of the mixing chamber, the material splits into two streams that flow along clearances between chamber walls and rotors, cycling back to the rotor top. Within the sealed chamber, materials are thoroughly sheared and blended under controlled pressure and temperature, ensuring complete dispersion and plasticization of formulation ingredients for maximum compound performance and consistency.
