Working Principle
The internal mixer features two counter-rotating rotors operating at specific speed ratios. Material is fed into the chamber where it undergoes compression and shear forces between the rotors. After passing through the roller gap, the material impacts the "W" shaped chamber edge, dividing into two streams that circulate along the front and rear chamber walls. This closed-system process ensures thorough shearing and mixing under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, achieving optimal dispersion and plasticization.
Mixing System Design
The mixing chamber features a "W" shaped design with an "M" shaped lower pressure cover, creating a fully enclosed mixing environment. Prismatic spiral stirring blades eliminate dead angles, ensuring complete material shear and dispersion. The hollow blade construction, made from high-carbon steel with vacuum deep nitriding heat treatment and hard chrome plating, provides exceptional hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and extended service life.
