HCET series motor thermal protector is specifically designed for automotive motor protection and manufactured under an IATF 16949 certified quality management system. It provides reliable locked-rotor and overcurrent protection for motors used in automotive applications, ensuring safety, reliability, and long service life.
When abnormal current caused by motor stall, overload, or abnormal operating conditions generates excessive heat, the bimetal mechanism trips automatically to disconnect the circuit and prevent permanent motor damage.
