- Hydraulic oil cleanliness: This is the most critical factor for pump life. Contaminants accelerate wear on piston slippers, swashplates, and cylinder blocks, leading to internal damage. Regularly sample and test the oil from turbulent areas in the hydraulic circuit, use high-cleanliness hydraulic oil, and replace filters promptly. Avoiding oil contamination is key to preventing malfunctions.
- Installation and Start-up: During installation, ensure the pump shaft is aligned and tightened to the correct torque, avoiding overloading the bearings. Thoroughly prime the pump before the first start-up and slowly warm it to operating temperature.
