SYX hydraulic cylinder rod ends with welding shank SKF SCF30ES are precision-engineered components designed for demanding hydraulic applications. These rod ends consist of a rod end housing and a radial spherical plain bearing, securely fixed in place by snap rings.
Product Design & Construction
Available in two main configurations: rod ends with welding shank and rod ends with locking slot. The welding shank variant is manufactured from weldable steel and comes in two shank profiles - prismatic and cylindrical. The cylindrical shank features an elastic pin at the bottom for easy positioning and alignment during installation.
Rod ends with locking slot are typically constructed from carbon steel or spheroidal graphite cast iron. These feature female threading in the rod end body and are equipped with screws for secure fastening. Both configurations support re-lubrication via oil cups or through holes in the rod end body.
Performance Characteristics
Engineered with steel-to-steel contact surfaces, these hydraulic rod ends deliver exceptional wear resistance and durability. The high-strength sliding surfaces make them particularly suitable for applications involving heavy alternating loads or significant static loads. Periodic re-lubrication is recommended to maintain optimal performance and service life.
