Product Overview
The Amphenol Air LB SIM (Modular Interconnection System) is a versatile, modular, rectangular, multi-contact, and multifunctional connector. Available in metallic or composite versions, shielded or unshielded, and qualified to EN 4165 standards, it offers robust connectivity for aeronautics and defense applications. The system comprises juxtaposable or flanged receptacles, plug connectors, and removable clip-in modules. It supports two mating types: clicker nut and rack panel. Mechanical polarization is achieved through an asymmetrical coupling screw with a 6-nut and key system, providing 36 unique combinations. The SIM connector is intermatable with connectors conforming to MBBN 3330 and EN 4165 standards.
