Product Overview
The Amphenol Socapex USB-A Field is a rugged USB interconnect solution designed for harsh industrial environments. Available in plastic and neoprene versions, it features a self-closing cap that protects the USB-A receptacle from dust and fluids when not in use, offering IP67 sealing when mated and IP54 when the cap is closed alone. These solutions support push/pull mating and are built for a high number of mating cycles. They are compliant with USB Specification 2.0, offering data transmission rates up to 480 Mb/s for High Speed USB, and operate within a wide temperature range of -40C to +85C. Applications include access points, telecom equipment, video control, robotics, industrial process control, CNC machines, and special machines.
