This upgraded standard operates with full-duplex signaling for simultaneous bi-directional communication and provides improved power delivery, capable of supplying up to 900mA compared to USB 2.0's 500mA. Key benefits include optimized power efficiency with lower active and idle power requirements, backward compatibility with USB 2.0, and Fast Sync-N-Go technology to minimize user wait-time.
