The Anderson SBS connector family offers high-power connectivity in a compact, ergonomic design, providing protection against accidental contact with live circuits. This is crucial for applications with DC voltages exceeding 30 volts. Available in wire-to-wire and wire-to-board configurations, SBS connectors are rated for up to 110 amps. The SBS 75X model features up to 4 mate-last, break-first auxiliary power/signal contacts rated up to 20 amps, while the SBS 75G includes a third first-mate, last-break ground or power contact. All contact positions are rated for circuit interruption (hot plugging) and offer a touch-safe interface, suitable for through-panel applications and minimizing contact with live circuits per IEC 60950.
