These plugs simplify the assembly process by allowing cable insertion before conductor trimming, a step eliminated by the integrated trimming function of the Stewart Connector 2940263-02 termination tool. This design significantly reduces termination time compared to traditional RJ45 modular plugs. They are rated for CAT5E and CAT6 performance and feature 50 micro inches of gold plating on contacts, suitable for solid or stranded conductor cables with specific diameter ranges.
