Product Overview
The Broadcom HFBR-R/EXXYYYZ series of Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) cables are designed for reliable data transmission in industrial and telecommunications environments. These cables are compatible with Broadcom Versatile Link connectors and fiber optic components, offering a 1 mm diameter POF in both Standard and Extra Low Loss grades. Applications include industrial data links for factory automation, intra-system links, telecommunications switching, computer-to-peripheral data links, proprietary LANs, digitized video, and medical instruments. They also help reduce lightning and voltage transient susceptibility and provide high voltage isolation. The cables feature a black polyethylene jacket and comply with UL VW-1 flame retardant specifications.
