Product Overview
The Broadcom AFBR-452xZ duplex connectors are designed for use with the Broadcom fast Ethernet transceiver AFBR-5972xZ. These connectors feature a rugged design with a latching mechanism for increased retention force, simplifying installation and reducing labor and tool costs. Constructed from a durable, flame-retardant ULTEM plastic, they are well-suited for industrial and harsh environments. The AFBR-452xZ connectors are exclusively for use with plastic optical fiber (POF) and are compatible with the AFBR-4594Z polishing kit for POF termination. Applications include industrial data links for factory automation and plant control, intra-system links, board-to-board and rack-to-rack connections, medical instruments, and high voltage isolation.
