Product Overview
The Kona KA1 Series is an 8.5mm pitch, single-row connector system designed for high-reliability, high-power applications requiring durability. Featuring individually shrouded and recessed contacts, polarization, and contact identification, these connectors offer robust performance. The male contact provides spring force within the female contact for positive engagement. Both contacts are plated with hard acid gold for longevity. Cable contacts are solder style, compatible with 8AWG cable, and are removable/replaceable. Connector housings are equipped with stainless steel screw-lock fixings for secure and efficient mating, with options for manual assembly and floating screw mounting. Metal backshells are available for added mechanical, RF, and EMC protection.
