The KR connector is a 2.0mm pitch, disconnectable insulation displacement connector featuring a low mounting height of 6.9 mm and a thin profile of 4.8 mm (for top entry type). It is designed for the interconnection of various electronic equipment, including VCRs, video cameras, car stereo systems, and communication equipment. Key features include a folded beam double-leaf contact construction, twin U-slot insulation displacement section, strain relief, and interchangeability with PH crimp style connectors, CR, and KRD insulation displacement connectors. Surface mount (SMT) models are also available.
