DR Connector
The DR connector is a compact insulation displacement connector (IDC) designed for miniaturized electronic equipment. It offers a 2.0 mm pitch, 5.0 mm mounting height, and 4.8 mm thickness, making it suitable for applications such as VCRs, cameras, and car stereo systems. Key features include a twin U-slot insulation displacement section for reliable connections, a folded beam double-leaf contact construction to enhance spring strength in smaller contacts, and a strain relief to protect the connection from external forces. The shrouded header also includes a triangular projection for connector integrity and strain relief reinforcement.
