This metallized plastic hood kit is designed for DB25 D-sub projection applications. It is suitable for use with any male or female 25-pin or high-density 44-pin D-sub connector and can accommodate cables with diameters up to 0.35 inches (8.9mm). The hood features a chrome-plated finish with a matte texture, excluding the label insert area. Hardware is included for secure cable attachment, and the hood sections snap together and are secured with Phillips flathead self-tapping screws. Each kit is individually packaged and includes two molded ABS plastic half hoods, two nickel-plated brass jackscrews, two self-tapping assembly screws, and one cable strain relief staple with two self-tapping screws.
