Product Overview
The TE Connectivity DEUTSCH 983 series connector, developed in the 1990s, is engineered for extreme reliability in harsh aerospace and military applications. It is specifically designed for demanding aircraft zone applications such as engines and boosters. Available in stainless steel for high-constraint areas like engines and landing gears, and aluminum for cargo compartments, this series is qualified to EN2997, ADS ESC10, and Boeing BACC63 specifications. The DEUTSCH 983 series is fully intermateable with MIL-DTL-83723 Series III connectors and offers distinct advantages including shell-to-shell metal bottoming, an anti-rotation system, and self-locking mechanisms.
