Product Overview
The xFBR-45xxZ series connectors are an enhanced version of the HFBR-4501Z and HFBR-4503Z low-cost connectors for plastic optical fiber, compatible with Avago Technologies Versatile Link series transmitters and receivers. The innovative design uses a simple, snap-together concept which eliminates the need for crimping, saving labor and tool costs while reducing installation error yield loss. Available in latching and non-latching styles, two non-latching simplex connectors can be snapped together for a duplex connector. Constructed from a rugged, flame-retardant plastic, these connectors are suitable for industrial and other harsh environments. The xFBR-45xxZ series connectors are for use with Plastic Optical Fiber only and are available in black, blue, and grey to match transmitters and receivers, aiding in fiber connection differentiation.
