The Amphe-PV H4 Plus from Amphenol Industrial Sustainable Technologies (AIST) is a robust, dual-certified DC connector designed for photovoltaic (PV) modules and installations. It meets UL 6703 1500V and IEC 62852 (ed.1); am 1 1500V (Class A) specifications. Evolving from the well-known H4 connector, it offers excellent durability, Amphenol-compatible mating, Amphenols low resistance RADSOK contact technology, and supports wire gauges from 14AWG/2.5mm to 8AWG/10mm with an IP68 rating. Enhancements include a ratcheting gland back nut to prevent backspin, an improved sealing grommet for better wet leakage performance, and optimized contact design for long-term stability. The design reduces part count and generates cost savings through features like gland nuts, environmental gaskets, wire-retention collets, and multi-gauge contacts. It is the ideal choice for all PV modules and installations worldwide.
