The 3M Textool Shrink DIP Sockets are designed for DIPs with a 0.070" (1.78 mm) lead spacing. Featuring a lever-actuated zero insertion force mechanism, these sockets offer pin counts ranging from 28 through 90 leads. The socket contact point is positioned at 0.090" (2.29 mm) below the top surface of the socket. These sockets are suitable for use as test sockets at room temperature (24C), providing a lifespan of 20,000 actuations.
