Amphenol AX Series XLR Connectors
The revolutionary AX series of XLR connectors offers a contemporary design for the professional audio interconnect market, complementing modern audio architecture. They are engineered for pure sound performance in demanding applications, providing excellent value. Key features include a unique Australian-designed shell and housing, an integrated ground/latch spring for enhanced connection and EMI performance, and an ergonomic sleeve for improved grip. They also offer channel identification with coloured sleeves, an oversized latch for easy mating, and a leading first-mate/last-break pin 1 on socket connectors. The chuck-style cable clamp accommodates various cable diameters (3mm - 8mm), and an overmolded boot with flex bend relief enhances aesthetics and cable protection. Concentric socket contacts and precision-machined pin contacts ensure optimal performance. The zinc diecast shell housing is robust, available in satin nickel or black finish, and offered in 3, 4, and 5 contact arrangements.
