Double Roller Fertilizer Granulator for Compound & Organic Fertilizer Production
The double roller fertilizer granulator is a dry granulation equipment that produces fertilizer granules through mechanical extrusion without requiring drying processes. It is ideal for manufacturing compound (NPK) fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and other granular materials with 3-10mm particle size
- No Drying Required: Dry extrusion process eliminates the need for drying equipment, saving 30-50% energy
- Wide Application: Suitable for over 20 types of raw materials including NPK, DAP, MAP, ammonium chloride, and organic materials
- High Granulation Rate: ≥90% granulation rate ensures minimal material waste
- Customizable Granule Shape: Ball, oval, rod, and pill shapes available by changing roller molds
- Low Temperature Operation: Process temperature stays below 40°C, preserving nutrient integrity
- Compact Design: Space-saving footprint suitable for both small and large production facilities
The double roller granulator works on the principle of extrusion granulation. Raw materials are fed into the hopper and transported to the gap between two counter-rotating rollers. The rollers, equipped with matching hemispherical cavities, compress the material into dense granules as they pass through. The compacted sheets are then broken into individual granules and screened to the desired size.
Unlike wet granulation methods, this dry extrusion process requires no drying or cooling equipment, significantly reducing energy consumption and production costs.

FAQ
Q: What granule sizes can the double roller granulator produce? A: Standard sizes range from 3mm to 10mm. Custom sizes
are available upon request by changing the roller mold.
Q: Does the machine require a binder for granulation? A: For most compound fertilizer materials, no binder is needed. For
some organic materials with low stickiness, a small amount of binder may be required.
Q: What is the delivery time? A: Standard models: 15-20 days. Customized models: 25-35 days.
Q: Do you provide installation service? A: Yes, we provide on-site installation, commissioning, and operator training. Remote
guidance is also available.
Q: What warranty do you offer? A: 12 months warranty from the date of delivery, excluding wearing parts (roller skins).
