Filtered Water Supply System for Rural Waterworks
Ultrafiltration membrane technology utilizes semi-permeable membranes with microporous structures to achieve selective separation and recovery of substances. Operating with external pressure (0.1 to 0.5 MPa) as the driving force, this system effectively separates macromolecules and colloids with molecular weights greater than 500 and diameters ranging from 0.005 to 10μm, including enzymes, proteins, viruses, and other dissolved macromolecular and colloidal pollutants.

Iron and Manganese Filtration System
Groundwater in many regions contains elevated iron levels (5-15mg/L, up to 20-39mg/L) and manganese levels (0.5-2.0mg/L, sometimes exceeding 2.0mg/L). When groundwater with excessive iron is pumped, the water appears clear initially but becomes turbid over time and develops a ferruginous odor. Iron contamination can damage ion exchange resins and reverse osmosis membranes, while iron in boiler feed water promotes scaling and corrosion. Cooling water with iron exceeding 0.5mg/L encourages iron bacteria growth, leading to pipeline clogging and equipment corrosion.
Our iron and manganese removal system integrates oxidation, ion replacement, retention, and clarification processes. Through aeration (jet or hollow multi-faceted ball aeration depending on concentration levels), bivalent iron and manganese are oxidized to form Fe(OH)₃ and MnO₂. Single or multi-stage filtration ensures treated water meets national drinking water standards with iron content ≤0.3mg/L and manganese content ≤0.1mg/L.

Many towns and industrial facilities across China utilize groundwater sources with iron concentrations typically ranging from 2-16mg/L. After treatment with our system, iron content is reduced to ≤0.3mg/L, fully compliant with national GB5749-85 drinking water quality standards.

Multi-Media Filtration
This system removes suspended solids, particles, and colloids from raw water while reducing turbidity and chromaticity. It effectively filters out particles, algae, and other visible matter. Multi-media filtration employs advanced micro-flocculation with multiple layers of specialized filtration media, ensuring SDI values ≤4 to protect downstream RO systems. The system offers excellent turbidity reduction with low operational costs and easy maintenance.
Backwash cycles occur every 16-48 hours, controlled by pressure parameters and automated sequencing for backwashing, running, and forward washing processes.
Activated Carbon Filtration
Activated carbon treatment provides essential water purification capabilities including:
  • Decolorization: Removal of color from iron, manganese, and organic compounds
  • Dechlorination: Elimination of residual chlorine odors

Water Softening System
Our softening system utilizes strong acid-type cationic resin to remove calcium and magnesium ions, reducing water hardness to <0.03meg/L (CaCO₃) to prevent scale formation. The system features a corrosion-resistant stainless steel tank with robust control valves and high-efficiency cation resin for maximum exchange capacity. The salt absorption system includes liquid level control, filtration, and automatic water return functions to prevent contamination during regeneration cycles.
Applications include boiler water treatment, solar heating systems, chemical processing, aquaculture, and various industrial uses requiring softened water.
