Assesses bending resistance of genuine leather samples by determining material resistance to cracking or failure at flexing creases.
Application
Determines the resistance of flexible materials to cracking or other types of failure at flexing creases. Particularly applicable to leathers, coated fabrics, and textiles used in footwear uppers.

Testing Methodology
- Test specimen is folded in half with one end secured in a clamp
- Specimen is turned inside out with free end secured in second clamp at 90° to first
