M16878/12 (MIL-W-16878/12 / NEMA HP-4 TYPE KK) is a heavy-wall extruded FEP insulated hook-up wire, rated for 1000V. It is designed for high-temperature applications, featuring a robust FEP insulation that provides reliable performance in demanding environments.The FEP insulation offers outstanding high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, moisture resistance, aging resistance, abrasion resistance, and flame retardance. It also exhibits excellent thermal stability, chemical resistance, oxidation resistance, and high reliability.
- High Voltage & Temperature Rating: Operates reliably at 1000V AC, with continuous use from -60°C to +200°C .It can withstand short-term exposure up to 300°C, making it ideal for systems exposed to current overloads or mechanical stress.
- Heavy-Wall FEP Insulation: Minimum 0.015" (0.38mm) thick FEP insulation for enhanced dielectric strength and voltage withstand.
