Sand De-sliming Machine
1.Product Introduction
A Sand De-sliming Machine is industrial equipment specifically designed for the sand and aggregate industry. Its primary function is to perform de-sliming, dehydration, and classification on the sand-water mixture generated during the sand washing process. It effectively recovers fine particles (such as fine sand below 0.16mm) that are typically lost in traditional sand washers. This significantly reduces the stone powder content in tailings, improves the grading and quality of the finished sand, and lessens the burden on wastewater discharge and sedimentation ponds. It is a key piece of equipment for achieving green and efficient sand production.

3.Working Principle
The equipment generally utilizes a combined "Hydrocyclone + Vibrating Dewatering Screen"process:
- Cyclonic Separation: The sand-water mixture is pumped at high pressure into the hydrocyclone via a slurry pump. Using the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, coarse particles and fine sand (due to their higher density) are flung against the walls and spiral downward to be discharged from the apex (bottom nozzle). Fine mud and most of the water, having lower centrifugal force, are discharged from the overflow at the top.
- Vibrating Dehydration: The high-concentration material from the hydrocyclone's apex enters a linear vibrating screen (usually fitted with polyurethane mesh). Under high-frequency vibration, the material is further dehydrated; water passes through the mesh, and clean fine sand is discharged from the end of the screen deck.
- Circulation & Recovery: A small amount of mud and water that was not completely separated returns to the cleaning tank via a return box, forming a closed-loop cycle for highly efficient recovery.
