The tyre shell section is a specially reinforced cylinder section mounted at the supporting position of a φ6.4×90m large-scale rotary kiln.It is welded between the main kiln shell and the rotary kiln tyre (riding ring), used to transfer the full weight of the kiln body, lining and materials to the supporting rollers.

1. According to the drawings provided by the customer, the shell shall be fabricated in two halves and shipped in split sections. During transportation, no warping, deformation, or other damage is allowed.

2. The shell section has a diameter of 6400 mm and a length of 2800 mm. The material of the shell is Q345B.

The scope of supply shall include support block assemblies (stops, support blocks, wear rings, support block shims, etc.) as well as assembly fasteners (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.).

1. The shell section shall be fabricated in two halves strictly in accordance with the drawings provided by the customer.

2. Material of the shell section: Q345B.

Materials of the base plates and retaining rings: Q235B.
