Furnace Trays N06600 AMS 5540 Strip Inconel Alloy
INCONEL (nickel-chromium-iron) alloy 600 (UNS N06600/W.Nr. 2.4816) is a standard engineering material for applications requiring corrosion and heat resistance. This alloy offers excellent mechanical properties with an optimal balance of high strength and workability.
Key Characteristics:
- High nickel content provides resistance to organic/inorganic compounds and chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking
- Chromium content ensures resistance to sulfur compounds and oxidizing conditions
- Strengthened through cold work (not precipitation hardenable)
- Effective performance range from cryogenic to above 2000°F (1095°C)
