Product Features
Inconel 600 has excellent resistance to corrosion and high temperatures, with high strength and superior fabricability. It resists chloride-ion-induced stress corrosion cracking, sulfur compounds, and oxidizing conditions at elevated temperatures.
Treatment Process
Inconel 600 is a Ni-Cr-Fe base alloy with solid solution strengthening, offering outstanding high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance. It features excellent cold and hot working properties along with good weldability, maintaining satisfactory heat strength and high plasticity below 700°C.
The alloy can be strengthened through cold working and is suitable for resistance welding, fusion welding, or brazing. Ideal for manufacturing antioxidant components operating below 1100°C under low loads.
Applications
Chemical process industry, heat treating fixtures, airframe components, and nuclear reactors.
