Good Forming Performance Nickel Chrome 70/30 Ni70Cr30 Wire For Medical Devices
Ni70Cr30 is an austenitic nickel-chromium alloy suitable for temperature applications up to 1250°C. High chromium content (30% in average) provides very good life time, especially in furnace applications.
Ni70Cr30 is characterized by high resistivity, good oxidation resistance, good ductility after use and excellent weldability. The alloy is not subject to "green rot" and is particularly well suited for reducing and oxidizing atmospheres.
Medical Applications
- Surgical Electrosurgical Knife: Commonly used to generate high temperatures for tissue cutting with stable high-temperature performance and conductivity.
- High-temperature Sterilization Equipment: Used to generate high temperatures for sterilizing medical instruments and equipment.
- Medical Imaging Equipment: Used in heating elements of X-ray tubes and CT scanners to ensure normal operation and imaging quality.
- Bioreactors: Used for temperature control to simulate and control temperature conditions for biological reactions.
- Medical Aesthetic Devices: Used as heating elements in high-frequency electrotherapy devices for skin treatments.
