Type N Thermocouple extension wire (Nickel-Chromium-silicon / Nickel-Silicon-Magnesium):
Thermocouple compensation cables, also known as instrumentation cables, are designed for process temperature measurement. These cables feature construction similar to pair instrumentation cable but with different conductor materials. Thermocouples measure process temperatures and connect to pyrometers for indication and control via thermocouple extension/compensating cables. The conductors in these cables maintain thermo-electric (emf) properties matching those of the sensing thermocouple.
