According to the extension wire standard (GB / 4989-94), models of compensation wires are divided into four types:
SC, WC, RC, BC (The initial letter of each type correspond with their graduations. The letter “C” refers to the compensation wire
Within certain range of temperature, a pair of insulating wires used in the applicable thermocouple which has the same feature is called compensation wire. When correctly connected with the applicable thermocouple, it will extend the reference end of thermocouple to a place away from heat or with constant temperature.
Advantages:
1, improve the mechanical and physical properties of the measuring lines of thermocouple.
2, reduce the cost of measuring lines
