Inclined Stamping Pure Nickel Strip 2p 3p 4p For 21700 Battery
Stepped 21700 packs need tabs that follow the step — and inclined stamping nickel strip shapes the material to match without stressing the joint. Our 2P/3P/4P patterns are stamped from Ni200/Ni201 pure nickel (≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni) with low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, with step geometry and widths locked against your drawing. Every batch is made on our own nickel-only line, inspected per batch and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates — 5 kg MOQ, 7-15 day delivery for standard production.
Inclined stamping produces stepped tab geometry for 21700 pack layouts, in 2P/3P/4P patterns, with thickness of 0.05-0.5 mm (hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm) and battery widths of 2-15 mm. Step angles, pitch and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.
- Inclined stamping process — tabs follow stepped cell geometry without stressing the joint.
- 2P/3P/4P patterns — pre-punched for 21700 packs, ready to weld.
- Ni200/Ni201 purity — ≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni with resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m (20 °C).
- Custom step geometry — step angles, widths and pitches per drawing.
- Documented supply — EN 10204 3.1 MTC, ISO 9001 certified, 7-15 day delivery.
Stepped battery layouts place cells at different heights, so a flat strip cannot connect them without bending or stress. Inclined stamping shapes the strip with the step built in — the tab lands flat on each cell with no forced deformation at the joint.
Step height and angle must match the cell layout exactly, or the weld pad drifts off the tab. Step geometry is punched to the drawing and verified per batch, so every joint in the pack lands where it should.
Inclined stamping bends the material at the step, so ductility matters: annealed pure nickel strip with elongation of ≥35% forms the step cleanly without cracking, and low resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m keeps weld behaviour consistent afterwards.

Quality control starts at the melt: raw material composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 before rolling, then every batch is gauged for step geometry, pattern, thickness and surface condition, and checked for burr and stamping defects against the drawing. Batch records link each order back to the melt, and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates ship with every consignment.
- ASTM B162 — nickel and nickel alloy plate, sheet and strip
- GB/T 2072-2020 — nickel and nickel alloy strip
- EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates accompany shipments
Stamped strip is supplied in rolls or cut lengths, edge-protected and moisture-wrapped, then packed in cartons and export wooden cases. Documentation — mill test certificates, batch records and packing lists — accompanies every order. Standard production lead time is 7-15 days from confirmed drawing; small lots are shorter.
Stamping is where material and geometry meet: an inclined step demands strip that bends, holds and welds at the same time. DLX Alloy has run a nickel-only line since 2002 — 12,000 m² of floor space, 10,000 t/yr total capacity, ISO 9001 certified and SGS audited — stamping battery strip to per-drawing geometry, with per-batch composition analysis and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates on every shipment.
Submit your drawing and quantity for a confirmed quote — stamping geometry and lead time confirmed before production.
Inclined stamping shapes the strip with a stepped or angled profile built in, so the tab lands flat on cells at different heights without forced bending at the joint.
Yes. Inclined-stamped 2P/3P/4P patterns are produced for stepped 21700 layouts, with step angles and pitch set to the pack design.
No. Tabs are checked for burr and surface condition after stamping, and annealed strip with ≥35% elongation forms the step without surface damage.
0.05-0.5 mm, with hot-sale 0.15/0.2 mm; thickness is confirmed against the pack's current requirements.
