0.2mm Pure Nickel Strip for 18650 Battery (Ni200) — the workhorse gauge of battery nickel strip, with density of 8.908 g/cm³, melting point of 1435-1446 °C and low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m (20 °C). Pure nickel offers good mechanical properties, high corrosion resistance in caustic and hydrofluoric environments, magnetic behaviour below the Curie temperature of 358 °C, high heat transfer and high electrical conductivity. Pure nickel also has good spot welding properties and high tensile strength (≥462 MPa annealed). Pure nickel strip is mainly used in lithium batteries, battery ears, metal stamping parts, electric vehicles, nickel batteries, telecommunications, electric vacuum and special bulbs.

What does 0.2 mm strip offer over thinner gauges? 0.2 mm carries more current per strip than 0.15/0.1 mm while staying thin enough for clean spot welds — the balance most 18650 pack lines order.
Can this strip be used for 18650 spot welding? Yes. 0.2 mm nickel strip with 19.5 mm pitch is set up for 18650 pack assembly; other pitch layouts per drawing.
How is purity guaranteed? Composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 per batch on our own line, and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates ship with the order.
Do you supply spools or cut lengths? Both. Spool package in carton box or coil package in polybag, per requirement.
