18650 Battery Connection Pure Nickel Metal Strip 0.15mm
A 18650 pack is only as consistent as its connections — 0.15 mm nickel strip that varies in thickness shows up as hot cells and weak welds. Our 18650 battery connection strip is punched from Ni200/Ni201 pure nickel (≥99.2%/≥99.0% Ni) with low electrical resistivity of 0.096 μΩ·m, in battery widths of 2-15 mm, with custom sizes locked against your drawing. Every batch is made on our own nickel-only line, inspected per batch and shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates from an ISO 9001 certified facility — 5 kg MOQ, 7-15 day delivery.
Connection strip is produced at 0.15 mm as specified, within the standard strip range of 0.05-0.5 mm, and in battery widths of 2-15 mm. Pattern geometry, available space and tolerances are confirmed against the drawing before production and locked in the batch record.
- Balanced 0.15 mm gauge — enough cross-section for pack current, thin enough for clean spot welds.
- Low resistance, cooler packs — 0.096 μΩ·m (20 °C) keeps joint temperature down under load.
- Solid pure nickel — no plated coating to wear or flake; Ni200/Ni201 purity per catalog.
- Batch-consistent geometry — thickness and width held per drawing, gauged per batch.
- Full documentation — EN 10204 3.1 MTC, ISO 9001 certified line, 7-15 day delivery.
Thickness sets the current-carrying cross-section, and 0.15 mm has become the established gauge for 18650 connection strip: enough copper-equivalent cross-section for typical pack current, thin enough to weld cleanly without excess heat input. Cross-sections outside this gauge are produced per drawing.
Every connection adds resistance, and resistance adds heat under load. Strip at 0.096 μΩ·m (20 °C) keeps that contribution low and uniform, so pack temperature stays even and weld quality stays consistent from the first joint to the last.
Ni200 (≥99.2% Ni) is the default grade for connection strip in normal service. Ni201 (≥99.0% Ni, ≤0.02% C) is specified where the pack runs hot enough for low-carbon stability to matter. The choice is confirmed against the application and operating temperature.

Quality control starts at the melt: raw material composition is verified against UNS N02200/N02201 before rolling, then every batch is gauged for thickness, width and surface condition, and punched patterns are checked for burr and dimensional accuracy against the drawing. Batch records link each order back to the melt, and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates ship with every consignment.
- ASTM B162 — nickel and nickel alloy plate, sheet and strip
- GB/T 2072-2020 — nickel and nickel alloy strip
- EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates accompany shipments
Connection strip is supplied in rolls or cut lengths, edge-protected and moisture-wrapped, then packed in cartons and export wooden cases. Documentation — mill test certificates, batch records and packing lists — accompanies every order, with a standard lead time of 7-15 days from confirmed drawing.
Packs are sold on cycle life, and cycle life leans on connection quality. DLX Alloy has run a nickel-only line since 2002 — 12,000 m² of floor space, 1,200 t/yr rated capacity, ISO 9001 certified and SGS audited — rolling and punching connection strip to per-drawing tolerances, with per-batch composition analysis and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates on every shipment.
Thickness sets the current-carrying cross-section: too thin limits current, too thick makes welding harder. 0.15 mm balances both for 18650 packs, and cross-sections outside this gauge are produced per drawing.
Pure nickel delivers its low resistance in the material itself, with no plated coating that can wear or flake in service; grade purity (Ni200 ≥99.2% Ni / Ni201 ≥99.0% Ni) is confirmed per catalog.
Yes. Battery widths of 2-15 mm are standard; custom widths, lengths and pattern layouts are produced per drawing.
Every batch is composition-analysed and dimensionally gauged on our own line, with batch records tied back to the melt and EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates shipped with the order.
7-15 days from confirmed drawing and order.
